FOOTBOARD YARDMASTER PAY FOR SWITCHMAN

The Claim:

• When instructed to perform yardmaster work  (directing traffic) while employed as a yard foreman, not footboard yardmaster.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

• FRA tie-up indicating times and train symbols for every assignment assisted which you were not called for

• Pay recap for the day showing you were not paid for being a footboard yardmaster. 

CLAIM EXAMPLE:

On  __/__/__ was on __(circ-7)___      _(board_)  working   __(Job  ID)____  .  At ___(time)   hrs, I was instructed by ______ (Manager)      to perform yardmaster work. I had to instruct the ____(train ID)_____ to go to track ______, setout to track _______, and pickup ________. Claiming basic day account being required to perform yardmaster responsibilities per Yard Schedule Rule 1.
