When CMS Denies a Request to take a PL Day

Claim under "CMS Mishandling" on nonservice time claim page.

The Claim:

• When CMS refuses to accept requests to take PL  day/days.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

• Keep track of time called and requested, name of caller, and response.

• EAMS recent transactions reports showing "The current supply of the crews does not meet demand."

CLAIM EXAMPLE:

On ___(date)    was on __(CIRC-7)     (BOARD)    working    (JOB ID)  . At ___(time)__ hrs, called CMS and spoke to caller    (name)    and requested to schedule _(#)_ PL Day(s) . Was informed that CMS will not accept requests to take PL Days. Claim basic day penalty for violation of the 1992 Crew Consist Modification Agreement Article 2, Section 5.
